Also known as The Fanart That Snowballed. Anyway.
Lolwhut? A piece with more than one character in it? And with a background to boot- do mine eyes deceive me? This picture was basically one big 'well, maybe I'll just add...'.
First it was just Abel sitting all on his lonesome. Then I arbitrarily decided to add Tres behind him. And then, well, I couldn't have those two and not put Esther it. And since I had them sort of floating in space, I drew a background.
The 'finished' product looked a bit messy, so I inked it. Then it looked a little flat, so I added some shading, and then some more (and then some more). Then everyone else was shaded but the background was white, so I shaded in that as well. Oof.
Well, that's what procrastinating on homework gets you.
Anyhow, this is for Sargent Snarky, because she inspired me to do it. *sendest much love and rainbows thy way*

I really like the compostition of this. I love the shading. Great job! You've got a lot of potential.
I think that ~sargentsnarky got pretty much everything for critque... but I can offer a bit.... THe hair looks really stiff and blocky. It look great if it moved around a bit more. Don't be afraid to cover up faces and draw loose strands! Esther's torso should have some folds in it – where her waist is. Even though she's skinny, there should be some folds. I recommend putting in a seam down the side of her dress, too. That gives the torso more volume. Tres's clothing looks a bit stiff... maybe you could make the clothing come a bit off his body, and move around a bit more.
